TERCEIRA - DIA INTEIRO - PRAIA DA VITORIA, BISCOITOS E INTERIOR, COM ALMOÇO

Às 09h00, saída da cidade de Angra Heroísmo em direção ao Monte Brasil, seguindo em direção à zona leste da ilha, passamos depois pelas freguesias da Ribeirinha, Serretinha, Porto Judeu, onde temos a oportunidade de avistar a Baía da Salga, Salgueiros, Porto Martins com visita à zona balnear, Cabo da Praia e finalmente chegamos à cidade da Praia da Vitória para um pequeno passeio visitando a Matriz da Praia da Vitória.

Continuando a viagem até à Serra do Facho com uma magnífica vista sobre a cidade da Praia da Vitória, seguindo-se a Serra do Cume com uma bela paisagem sobre os “retalhos”. Visita à Igreja mais antiga da Ilha em S. Sebastião.

Paragem para almoço. Após o almoço, continuação para o interior, onde podemos visitar o Algar do Carvão (visita opcional) e as Furnas do Enxofre, bem como alguns Tentaderos. Seguimos agora em direção à freguesia dos Biscoitos, com visita ao Museu do Vinho (a sua abertura depende da disponibilidade do fornecedor) e à zona balnear.

Continuando pela zona Norte da Ilha, regressando a Angra do Heroísmo temos a oportunidade de passar pelas freguesias dos Altares, e depois pelo interior da Ilha, passando pela Lagoa das Patas. Continuação para Doze Ribeiras, Santa Bárbara, das Cinco Ribeiras, onde sempre que possível será visitada a Fábrica de Queijo das Cinco Ribeiras, continuação para Angra do Heroísmo com paragem na Casa de Bordados local.

At 09:00, departure from the city of Angra Heroísmo towards Monte Brasil, heading towards the east side of the island, we then pass through the parishes of Ribeirinha, Serretinha, Porto Judeu, where we have the opportunity to see Baía da Salga, Salgueiros, Porto Martins with a visit to the bathing area, Cabo da Praia and finally we arrived at the city of Praia da Vitória for a short walk visiting the Matriz da Praia da Vitoria.

Continuing the trip to Serra do Facho with a magnificent view of the city of Praia da Vitoria, followed by the Serra do Cume with a beautiful landscape over the “patchwork”. Visit to the oldest Church on the Island in S. Sebastião.

Lunch stop. After lunch, continue inland, where we can visit Algar do Carvão (optional visit) and Furnas do Enxofre, as well as some Tentaderos. We now head towards the parish of Biscoitos, with a visit to the Wine Museum (its opening depends on the availability of the supplier) and the bathing area.

Continuing along the north side of the Island, returning to Angra do Heroísmo we have the opportunity to pass through the parishes of Altares, and then the interior of the Island, passing through Lagoa das Patas. Continuation to Doze Ribeiras, St. Bárbara, das Cinco Ribeiras, where whenever possible the Fábrica de Queijo das Cinco Ribeiras will be visited, continuation to Angra do Heroísmo with a stop at the local Embroidery House.
