Excursão de dia inteiro na ilha Terceira, com almoço incluído. Após o pequeno-almoço, pelas 09h00, início da excursão de dia inteiro à ilha Terceira. Partida de Angra do Heroísmo em direção ao Monte Brasil, passando pela sua área envolvente e apreciando as vistas sobre a baía e a cidade. Seguindo depois para o lado Este da ilha, atravessando as freguesias da Ribeirinha, Serretinha e Porto Judeu. Ao longo do percurso tem a oportunidade de admirar a Baía da Salga, a zona balnear dos Salgueiros, Porto Martins, e ainda o Cabo da Praia. Mais à frente chegada à cidade da Praia da Vitória, uma pequena caminhada leva-o até à Matriz da Praia da Vitória, aproveitando para conhecer o centro histórico. A viagem continua até à Serra do Facho, de onde pode desfrutar de uma vista panorâmica única sobre a cidade da Praia. Seguindo pela Serra do Cume, famosa pela impressionante paisagem da chamada “manta de retalhos&rdquo resultado da divisão dos campos agrícolas. Visita à igreja mais antiga da ilha, em São Sebastião. Após esta paragem cultural, segue-se o almoço num restaurante local. Depois do almoço, a excursão continua pelo interior da ilha, onde pode visitar o Algar do Carvão (visita facultativa) e também as Furnas do Enxofre, além de observar algumas formações vulcânicas conhecidas por Tentadeiros. Seguindo em direção à freguesia dos Biscoitos, onde, se disponível, visita o Museu do Vinho e depois a famosa zona balnear formada por piscinas naturais de lava. Continuando pelo lado norte da ilha, tem a oportunidade de passar pelas freguesias dos Altares, entrando depois na zona interior, com passagem pela Lagoa das Patas, rodeada por densa vegetação e um ambiente de grande tranquilidade. O percurso segue até às Doze Ribeiras, Santa Bárbara e Cinco Ribeiras, onde poderá visitar a tradicional Fábrica de Queijo das Cinco Ribeiras e conhecer os métodos artesanais de produção. Por fim, regresso a Angra do Heroísmo.

Full-Day Tour of Terceira Island, with Lunch Included

After breakfast, at around 9:00 AM, the full-day tour of Terceira Island begins. Departure from Angra do Heroísmo towards Monte Brasil, passing through its surrounding area and enjoying the views over the bay and the city. The tour then continues to the eastern side of the island, crossing the parishes of Ribeirinha, Serretinha, and Porto Judeu. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire Baía da Salga, the Salgueiros bathing area, Porto Martins, and also Cabo da Praia.

Further along, arrival at the town of Praia da Vitória. A short walk will take you to the Matriz Church of Praia da Vitória, allowing you to explore the historic center. The journey continues to Serra do Facho, where you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the city of Praia. Following Serra do Cume, famous for the impressive landscape known as the “patchwork quilt,” resulting from the division of agricultural fields. Visit to the oldest church on the island, in São Sebastião.

After this cultural stop, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, the tour continues through the interior of the island, where you can visit Algar do Carvão (optional visit) and also the Furnas do Enxofre, as well as observe some volcanic formations known as Tentadeiros. Heading towards the parish of Biscoitos, where, if available, you visit the Wine Museum and then the famous bathing area formed by natural lava pools.

Continuing along the northern side of the island, you have the opportunity to pass through the parishes of Altares, entering the interior area, with a stop at Lagoa das Patas, surrounded by dense vegetation and an atmosphere of great tranquility. The route continues to Doze Ribeiras, Santa Bárbara, and Cinco Ribeiras, where you can visit the traditional Cheese Factory of Cinco Ribeiras and learn about artisanal production methods.

Finally, return to Angra do Heroísmo.
